Review Topic: K1 Visa

In my opinion (I think my case was sensitive, or different from most I tried 4 times before for a visiting visa and was denied and my spouse had two divorced before!!!!!
Fast forward from the line outside and all because Im no stranger to that. After entering through that very heavy door I was greeted by this polite Gentleman, I handed him my passport and he gave me a number, he looked at the ds 156 etc, then he asked me for my appointment letter, I told him that it wasnt given back to me, he said are you shore, he told me to look through my doc. I told him that it could not have been in my documents every thing was placed in their respective order so I dont have. He told me to describe the young ma who look @ my doc. and he called out front and he had it. he told me to write my passport number on a yellow piece of slip while I waited on the app. letter I just relaxed and wait when he received it he said you may take a seat on your right and welcome to America,LOl.

By then all the seats on the right were taken, so I sat in-front the caching aria. I was sitting alone until a young lady sat next to me, she sat there for a while then I asked her what kind of visa she was here for she said ki, he number was called quickly but she didnt have most of documents and she didnt know about the $350 us.

I was sitting all alone once more, a pregnant woman was passing from over the left, she wanted to use the rest room the guy from outside asked her what kind of number was given because she should have an expressed number because he didnt notice tat she was pregnant, then he said imagine if he baby born their it would be an American he so funny, those little things kept me calm so I wasnt nervous!!!

I waited for a while longer then my name was called, I went up to window five and a chocolate color lady about in her late 30s asked me for all my documents, she asked me if I had ever traveled outside of Jamaica, and how long I stayed, she was looking at the Evidence of support then she wrote down the amount of funds, she asked me for my phone number then she placed all my documents in a pink folder, which consist of the rest of my hubby documents that was sent to Jamaica. She did not take my photos or any evidence of bonefied relationship she said the consular will ask me for those...
..she then said I could take a seat and wait on my number(A55)

By this time seats on the right were available I didnt want to pay much attention to the questions that were been asked but some got blue sheets and some went to pay their dhl fee . By now five of us were remaining in our seats.then my number came up!!!!!

I was interviewed by white woman about in her mid thirties, she is well trained, I think she is a nice lady!!!!! After I raised my right hand and swore , I was told to write my fiances name and to sign my name on the bottom of immigrant visa form. I was asked about 30 or more questions, some had part a,b,c while some were repeated but asked in a different format. Here are a some of the questions that were asked!!!!!
1)when is your fiances birthday?
2)what year did you guys met?
3)Who introduced you guys together?

4)what is the name of the family member who introduced you?
5)hOW is the family member related?
6)what inspired you to talk to him?
7)where does he stay when he is in JA?
8)where am I living now?
9)What are the names of his x wives?
10)When did he proposed to you?
11)dont you think he is too old for you? (he is 46 and I am 28)
13)What is his day like?
14)what do you discuss when you talk on the phone
15}where does he lives?
16}who was there when he proposed, what did he say and what was my response?
17}why am I not wearing a ring (my fiance is giving me the chance to choose)
18)Does he lives in an apartment or a house?
19)Does the house belong to him or is it rented?
20)how old his he?
21}why do i love him?
22)have I ever traveled outside JA, the purpose of the trip and the list of countries Ive been to.how long did I stayed for?
23)why didnt I marry in JA?
24)Do i know how much money he made for a year
25)What kind of job he did before his present one?
she asked to see our photos, I glued two or three photos on a blank sheet of paper I wrote the names of persons in the photos, the year it was taken and where they were taken, we had photos of both of us and photos of us with family members.she were so into the photos!!!!!
I then handed her my money transfer receipt, they were placed in the order 2008-2011.
I also handed her the itinerary to show her that he missed his flight the day before the interview.
Then she asked me one more question, where are we keeping the wedding, then she said I am going to give you the visa...on my way over pay dhl fee I was just rejoicing to the lord and giving him all the praise I didnt even looked behind me,but I noticed no one was longer sitting on the left. I then ran across the road to collect my phone from the lady who was holding it I didnt even collect the change from all I wanted to do is to call my hubby and share the news when he came on the phone I was screaming and me say me get it then I said a whole bunch of questions, he said I dont even care about questions right now Im so glad you got it, this was one of the happiest moment of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant tell how long my interview last for, and I didnt even care how long it lasted as long as I was approved that was all was mattered. I rely liked the lady who approved us because i have been to about 4 interviews for a visiting visa and the questions were thrown at you in seconds and if you are not careful u could lie on your self, I always wanted more time for explanations...You know whats the good thing about it all I got all the answers to my questions correct!!!!! once you know your spouse you cant go wrong apart from that the only thing you need is faith in the lord. ONE LOVE!!!
