Review Topic: K1 Visa

Arrived at 8.50am for 9.00am interview (earliest running train I could get)
4 people waiting in line outside.
Got inside to a full waiting room.
Waited 2.5 hours for my number to be called.
When I was called to the first window (10.30am) a British lady scanned my fingerprints and (while "nonchalantly" asking me a few questions and chatting) asked me for the following documents:

My Passport
2 x US sized passport pics
Birth Certificate + copy
Police Certificate + copy
I-134
all Affidavit of Support documents (in our case it was pay slips, tax transcripts, bank statements and a hand-written affidavit)

The lady then handed me a pink slip to fill-out for the DX Secure return of my passport and asked to wait for my number to be called again.
5 minutes later my number was called again to a different window.
An American lady this time, scanned my fingerprints, asked me to raise my right hand and agree to swear an oath that everything I was about to say was true/fact.
I was asked the following questions in very quick succession (barely giving me time to think/let alone answer lol)

Q: How long have you known your Fiance?
A: Around 7/8 years

Q: When was he Divorced from his previous wife?
A: Last June

Q: So you were with him when he was married?
A: No we never met in person until after they were seperated.

Q: Were you the cause of their Divorce?
A: No.

(she then said, it's okay if you were, this isn't a problem. To which I again said I was not.)

Q: So what was the cause of their Divorce?
A: She was spending all her spare time with her family and had no time for my Fiance.

Q. Was the 20 year age difference an issue?
A. No, I've always dated older men.

Q: What about the familys, do either of them have a problem with it?
A: No, both familys have met us and get along well.

She then handed me back my original Birth Certificate and Police Certificate and said "Ok Miss XXXXXX i'm going to approve your Visa". She then handed me back a form on which she asked me to print my Fiance's full name and my signature.

Day of Interview over and approved in 3 hours. Nowhere near as exciting as I had anticipated it being and definately wouldn't lose any sleep over it (like I did).
