We got lost and arrived about 30 minutes late for interview, so we were really stressed out by the time we actually made it into the Embassy. When Galvani was called in, the lady who took the paperwork asked for the DS230 part 1 which he didn't have since he had email it to Embassy already. Lady was annoyed and had him complete it again. He then sat down and waited to be called for interview. After about an hour and a half he was called up to window for interview. The young American woman asked him how long we have known each other, how did we meet, has he met or talked to my parents, do I have siblings, do I have kids, what do I do for work, what are our common interests, how often I visit him, where do I stay in Jamaica, how often do we talk, who calls, etc. She asked for phone records and pictures. Asked a few questions about the pictures such as location, who the people in the pictures were, and when the picture was taken. Then she asked how much older I was than him, he said 10 years, she asked if that bothered him and he immediately said no. She smiled and told him about registering with selective services once he enters the country.... He was approved! Galvani came out with a huge smile! He said the lady who did the interview was very nice and he felt comfortable even though he was so nervous. The lady smiled a lot while looking at our pictures too
