First, We have to thank God for his unfailing faitfulness towards us. Amen!!!.. So.... My wife and arrived at the embassy on Feb. 22nd at 0615. We were instructed by speaker phone to wait in line 3 along with the other visa applicants. While we were waiting in line 3 outside of the gates of the embassy a young lady asked to see everybodys visa appointment letter, passport, and visa photo. After she verified those documents she gave my wife and I a green sticker to wear on our shirts. We then proceded through security to wait in a line to receive a folder with instructions on how to organize all of the documetns. Once we organized all of our documents we presented our folder to a young lady for her the check that we had all of the required documents. Afterwards we waited for about 45 mins and we were called to a window for another woman to verify our documetns and to ask a couple of question in regards to our relationship. ( I dont remember exactly what questions but nothing major.9 After that mini interview we returned to our seats to wait another 45 mins or so to be called to another window to take my wifes fingerprints. Afterwhich, we returned to our seats to await the big interview. We waited about 20 mins and we were called to window 6. The young lady asked me to have a seat while she questioned my wife. Once she finished questioning my wife she called me to window 6 by loudspeaker, and questioned me. The total questioning lasted about 10 mins and we were told we needed more documentation. my wife needed her Baptismal certificate and I needed my 2010 W-2 forms. So we were given a form from the consul with the items listed that we needed. We were instructed to obtain the documents and call a colombian number at the bottomw of the form when we had all the documents ready to schedule another interview date. We called to schedule an interview the next day Feb. 23rd and we were given another date for the 16th of March. (2 weeks after our first interview) So, we returned on the 16th of March with our papers and the form we were given on the 22nd of Feb with the list of documents we needed. The process was the same as the 1st interview minus the fingerprinting. After 3 hours of waiting we were called to window 6 ( The exact same woman from the first interview) we presented our requested documetns, she cheked the documents and told my wife to proced to the Domesa window to pay for the delivery of her passport and visa. The only question she asked at our 2nd interview was to my wife. She asked her where do I live. Very smooth interview the 2nd time. We had moutain stacks of photos, western union receipts, phone bills, and letters. She didnt ask to see anything exept the photos (after we asked her if she wanted to see the photos. lol.. )
