We showed up at the embassy at 7:30am, and unfortunately had to wait until 3:45pm...While there my wife caught up with another couple she had met at her medical exam, we were all very excited and shared our stories which made the time fly by really quickly. The other couple had their interview about 3:00pm and were done in about 10min, we unfortunately where called last but it was all worth it, the Consulate was a real nice lady who only asked 3 questions including proof which we had a photo album, she glanced at a few pictures asked my wife where each had been taken, and then my spouse turned to me and said, all done. At first I didnt know what she meant, I turned to the consulate who just smiled at me and said congratulations. In all we spent about 5min.
I want to thank everyone at VJ for their great advice and do suggest to anyone who is still wating to try and accompany your spouse not only will your spouse feel less stressed but the consulate will be more easy on the interview, I noticed all the single women that were there spent more than 20 min being interviewed and majority were turned down or asked to return.
Also want to thank Hotel "turisticas63Inn" at hotelbogotainn.com , the service there was great and the rooms were cozy and unexpensive.
Again thank you VJ and Best of luck to all!
