I will try to describe the process for us with hopes of helping someone else. My finace had her first interview with it ending a request for more evidence for her son and a request for me to attend the second interview. We had a good hotel close to the embassy. Our hotel provided free airport and embassy transportation. The name is Hotel American Dream. I think some things at the embassy are very professional others need some attention. Most of the people are very nice a few lack some people skills. The process started at 6 am in line they processed us checking our new evidence and gave us a appointment to return at 1 pm for the interview. They called my fiance,I naturally went to the window with her, I was promply told to go sit down. I do not have a problem with this, I still do not understand the next comment. I walked away and stood out of site from the interviewer just thinking of another cup of coffee, I was 10 feet from the rows of chairs standing in a court yard. The interviewer spoke to my fiance to tell me to sit dowm in the chairs. I really do not understand this but, I smiled and said OK no problem. I was able to speak with everyone else who was being interviewed and waiting for one. The question process lasted about 20 minutes for my fiance, asking questions about me such as,
1. What sports do I like
MY favorite food?
Questions about my family, my work,
What I do on the weekends when I am not at work.
What my hobbies are?
The women ask when we had sex for the first time, and then wanted to know when we had sex the last time.
I even spoke with another couple who were questioned seperatly if they used a condom.
What do you plan to do on your honeymoon? Our seperate answers were, we can't plan a honeymoon until you give us a visa, the women smiled then.
What is our favorite food. What she does for a hobby?
They wanted to know about our families and how much money I send her, how often, how much we speak to each other, what methods we use.
I have all this evidence but they do not want to see it. I offer more proof they say no.
Everyone needs to understand you need to know personal information about each others likes and dislikes because they will ask.
They ask about our communication and my spanish, her English.
They never wanted anymore information such as evidence of a relationship during either interview. They only had the original packet I sent with the I29F to Vermont, of course they wanted the 325 and financial information. They never wanted tax returns at any point.
I guess it was a good experience we did not have to stay at the embassy all day, we came back at 12:15 and was told to come back more close to our interview time around 1 pm.
I hope this helps someone more later and good luck
Jay and Katy
