Back in late 2004, my then girlfriend (now fiancee), went to the Mexico City embassy to apply for a travelers Visa. It was her impression that the people working there were racist towards Mexicans. She unfortunately didn't have any of the names of people working there, so I wasn't able to report them. But that was her review. I should note though, that she spoke little English at the time and was angry anyway for having to go down there. As you probably know, people in Mexico aren't all that thrilled about the closed border anyway. For that reason her opinion is probably a bit biased. I haven't been to the Embassy there myself, so I can't really confirm or deny my fiancee's review of it. All I can say is that she's loathing having to return there for a K1 visa. -And of course, she mentioned not loving the long lines. Wait until she sees the DMV huh?
