Our experience at the Vancouver Consulate was a pleasant and fairly stress-free one. No need to show up early to get in line, you are let into the building in time for the interview which was a relief. Security was extensive and very strict which was nerve wracking to go through. Once in the K-visa area it was a much different atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful people there. Our documents and information was verified. We were asked a few simple questions and told good luck  Our appointment was at 10am and everything took about an hour and a half to complete. Lots of sitting and waiting in between.
