I went to the US embassy on April 13th, 3 weeks after my medical exam. My fiancé who is visiting was able to come with me inside the building which was very pleasant to have it by my side.
1st tent outside, the lady only took my DS-160 and both our passports. We went through security easily, my fiancé had his backpack with him it didn't cause any problem at all. Inside the building, the reception took again my DS-160 and passport, and invited me to get to the first floor.
At a first window, my number was called after 10 minutes. A gentleman that I could barely hear asked for my DS again, passport, photographs, police records, birth certificate and affidavit of support. He also took my fingerprints and asked me to take a seat.
Then, I was called at another window for THE interview after maybe 15-20min. It was the easier part, the lady was absolutely lovely, she made me swear I was saying the truth and took my fingerprints again. She only asked me how my fiancé and I met, where does he live, what does he do for a living, where will we live in the USA and if I overstayed in the USA as I was an au pair few years ago. Then she told me they didn't have my medical (like whaaaat I had 3 weeks before) and I told her I had the copies of it if she needed as Knightsbridge gave some papers. And she said it was probably in the building they just didn't have it at the moment. I was a bit disappointed because I was hoping to have an answer that day, like everybody ... So I asked "Are we approved ?" and she simply smiled saying "Depending on your medical results, you should have your passport back in a week or two". I thanked her and once out, called Knightsbridge right away and they told me they sent my results to the embassy so now I just have to keep waiting ..
But really, it's a piece of cake. I brought all proof, nothing was asked, always better to have more but I was almost disappointed she didn't ask to see our photo album that we prepared with all our memories 
All the staff was very kind, very nice building as well, easy to find. Just Knightsbridge, get it together !!
