I had my interview scheduled for 1pm on Thur. It was fairly quiet when I arrived at the blue visa tent outside the embassy at 12pm. I was greeted by a nice lady who told me to come back in about 30 minutes. I came back around 12:35pm I gave my consulate letter and passport which she wrote on and handed back to me, she then directed me to a door where I went through security. Upon entering the embassy I was given a sticker with a number on it and asked to sit and wait for my number to be called. My number was called after about 5 minutes, I went to the booth and handed in the documents they asked for which were: Passport, birth cert, courier info, DS 160 barcode, 1 134, tax return and a photograph. The very nice gentlemen then handed me a copy of my x ray on disc and told me to be seated and wait to be called by a consular officer. I waited about 45 minutes and then was called to a different booth. I was asked to swear to tell the truth and answered several questions about how we met, number of visits, date of visits etc. The conversation lasted less than 10 minutes, then the officer said ' Congratulations you are approved, you should have your passport back within a couple of weeks' I nearly cried! Thanked him and said I was going to call my other half. Overall, a very good experience and everyone I met was friendly and helpful.
