Our experience was similar to what everyone else's with their interview, there was nothing to worry about.

My fiance and I over-prepared, I made a binder with a table of contents, dividers, and labelled everything to the T and they didn't take anything except the pay stubs and I-134 form. They didn't even take the letter from my employer, which really surprised us.

My fiance compared it to the DMV, where you go up to a kiosk/desk and give documents and have a short conversation but you really spend most of your time sitting in the communal seating area.

I definitely would not have done anything differently, even though the embassy didn't take 95% of the documents we had prepared but I want to express that it really isn't a stressful environment.

Also, it's difficult to find in the forums (if it even exists) but the 1-134 form, pays stubs, and tax form all need to be original or have wet-ink signatures. The first package I sent to my fiance took longer than expected and when he didn't have it 7 days before his interview, I sent another package with a 1-day guaranteed delivery just to be sure he had the necessary documents in time. At the interview, he was told if he didn't have the originals, the interview would have needed to get rescheduled. Of course, the first package arrived just 3 days before the interview anyway.

Another tip! Use FedEx and not USPS to send packages!
