The interview was pretty cut and dried as the other interviewees have indicated.

Rob appeared for his interview yesterday, July 10, 2017. He presented his paperwork at the first window and inadvertently had brought the wrong birth certificate so they told him that he could courier the long form birth certificate to them at no cost and gave him a letter with instructions on how to go about doing that, although there were some things that weren't completely clear. Also, they had not received his medical yet (apparently something to do with the July 4 holiday). They were nice, though, and let him go ahead with the interview.

Rob said that during the interview, they never asked him about his proof of relationship paperwork, SAR, or anything of the like. They did inquire about the relationship, i.e. How long he has known me, how many times we've met, why he hasn't been to see me more times, and what his intentions are when he comes to America.

At the conclusion of the interview, they told him he is approved pending receipt, of course, of the medical exam results and the long form birth certificate from Robert, which was sent via courier this morning.

We are so relieved to get that behind us!
