I just returned from the consulate.
Approved! Phew...

First of all, if the letter says 1:30, be there at 1:30. There is no point being there earlier and especially going up to ask for entry in the consulate before 1:30. Wait. Someone from the consulate will come and invite everyone in. Immigration visas first, non-immigrants after.

Second, please, for your own good, DO NOT BRING YOUR PHONE OR LAPTOP or any other electronic devices with you. YOU WILL BE DELAYED AND POSSIBLY DENIED ENTRY! Leave them at home, at the office, or with a friend outside.

After you get in through security you head to window 5 to get fingerprinted and hand over your documents (original and copies of birth certificate, police certificate from The Netherlands and any other country you have lived in before, and I134 and supporting documents - they prefer tax transcript or tax return copy).

After this you sit and wait. I was third in line, so not a lot of waiting, but considering everyone's file is considerably thick (everything you submitted to USCIS with the petition, to NVC and now to the consulate) and the CO needs to go through the entire thing, page by page, and asking you questions in the same time, this will take anywhere from 5-15 minutes per person.

The CO will let you know on the spot if everything's OK or not, if you are approved or not, or if you are missing documents and how to submit them. The first person in didn't have one document because their lawyer didn't say it was needed. I don't even want to know how many thousands of dollars they spent on a lawyer and came to the interview with a missing document... We relied on USCIS' website and VJ. So thank you VJ!!! We will never hire a lawyer...

My passport and original documents will be returned in 3-4 business days with a courier. Now just sit and wait

Good luck everyone!
