I had a 9:30 appointment set for my interview. I arrived at the embassy approximately 8:4O am. At the Entrance they asked my name and time of the appointment then checked my passport along with the appointment letter and marked on the letter in purple ink. At the security check point i placed all my things inside a tray and proceed inside. I was directed to the section where they collected my appointment letter and passport. A lady at the window took the letter and returned my passport with a number. I was told to wait on the right side, a few seconds later my number was called to approach a different window. At this window they collected all of my DS forms, the impediment, police record, birth certificate, the photographs (4 passport size)and Affidavit of support along with the paystub, job letter etc. I was then directed to the cashier to pay the 240 us fee (at current 25,200 jmd) and return to the window. Back at the window i was directed to sign a form, before i signed the lady behind the window asked if i was married. The form basically stated that i promise not to marry before my arrival to the US. She then verify my fingerprint and gave me a card with my appointment time and instructed me to return to the right side and wait to be called for the interview. I waited until approximately 12:15 before I was called for the interview. The interviewer asked lots of questions
1. How did i meet my fiance?
2. How does the mutual friend who introduced us knew him?
3. How did my Fiance Proposed?
4. While proposing with a song if he played a guitar?
5. If my parents like my fiance?
6. How long we dated before he proposed?
7. Where is my fiance living?
8. What type of job does my fiance do?
9. How often my fiance and i talk?
10.How often i saw him and for how long?
11.which school I went to and what did i study?
12.If i had traveled outside of my country before?
13.If i have been arrested?
14.What will i do when i reach the U.S?
15.Am i aware that i need to be married within 90 days?
He then said "ok"
He asked for the pictures and looked through the album that my fiance and i created (he smilled for the first time javascript:emoticon(' '). we also had description above and below each photograph (pretty much described whoever was in a picture) . He never looked at the call logs, message logs etc
He then took my passport and gave me a green card along with DHL registration steps ('')(even though i had confirmation printed) he says even though i completed this step online already he still has to give to me.
