Fiance showed up at the embassy at 6:30 am and said that there were already many people there waiting to enter the embassy grounds. She said she was screened through security and given a number and was told to sit and wait until her number flashed on a screen. She said that her first interviewer was a filipino male who asked her for her papers, and asked her a few questions. She said he was particularly interested in the financials and asked her if I had been supporting her there in the Philippines. She showed him the xoom receipts of money that I had been sending her and he smiled at her. She was then directed to another window and asked to sit until her number was called or flashed on a screen. She said that the american counsular was nice and asked her my name when was the last time we met. He reviewed her papers and told her that the medical exam results were not at the embassy. This was strange because her interview was on 8/17/12 and she finished her medical exam on 8/8/12. Now I realize that this was the time when the typhoon hit Manila and the embassy was closed for a few days. She was then directed to another window where she was issued two 221g forms. One for her medical exam results and the other for a new cenomar from pasay. She then told the 2go service that she wanted home delivery for her passport and visa and documents. She left the embassy. When she left she went immediately to Pasay and went to the NSO office and ordered another CENOMAR and directed that it be delivered to the embassy via 2go. She then went to the hotel and gathered her belongings and went home and then contacted me. I told her to call St Lukes and ask if her Medical Exam results had been sent to the embassy, she did and they told her that 2go had picked up her medical exam results on 8/13/12. So the courier service had the medical exam documents 4 days before the scheduled interview. The extension clinic is only 4 blocks from the embassy and it takes longer than 4 days to deliver documents from that distance? I also questioned the 221g on getting another CENOMAR. The one that she took to the embassy was one that she obtained from her local home town NSO office printed on security paper that was dated 8/14/12. Just 3 days before the scheduled interview with the embassy. Why would they need another one? I am still confused.
