  1. Hello all! I'm glad to see so much progress being made in most everybody's cases! I just received my oath ceremony date, which is July 19th. Unfortunately I will be traveling out of the country and need to reschedule my oath date to after September! It does say on the bottom 'If you cannot come to this ceremony, return this notice immediately and state why you cannot appear. In such case, you will be sent another notice of ceremony at a later date. You must appear at an oath ceremony to complete the naturalization process' Problem is it's not clear to me where to return the notice with the explanation. Do I return it to the address on the envelope (which is a Missouri processing center), or the location of my oath ceremony (which is a high school) or my field office (in Fairfax) where I had my interview? Thanks in advance and good luck to everybody!
  2. I just got my oath letter, Form N-445 , unfortunately I will be traveling out of the country and need to reschedule my oath ceremony. Do I return it to the address on the envelope (which is a Missouri processing center), or the location of my oath ceremony (which is a high school) or my field office where I had my interview? I'm confused. Thank you for your help in advance!
  3. I have been trying to get an infopass appointment for the last two weeks with no luck. I keep getting the message that there are no appointments available and to check back the next day. I've checked all hours (midnight, 2 am, 5 am, during the day) and no luck. Does anyone know what time the appointments get available in the system? Or if the Fairfax, VA office allows walk-ins?
  4. I just had my interview at the Fairfax office. It was an interesting experience. The IO was extremely polite and nice. She barely asked me any extra questions, apart from going through the application with me. She did not ask to see a single document that I took with me (and believe me I took a lot!!). The interview lasted all of 15 minutes. When it was done she said congratulations you have passed the interview and I am recommending you for approval. But then she gave me a paper which had 'A decision cannot be made at this time' check marked. When I asked her about it she said nothing to worry about and it just gets sent to the supervisor who will approve it and then it will get updated in the system and I will be put in line for the oath ceremony. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm just confused. The IO kept telling me this is a normal process, but it doesn't sound like it to me!!
  5. Congratulations @Mehmet&Elena. Could you give a detailed review of the interview process, including what questions were asked in the civics test? I think we are in the same office at Fairfax, so would love to know your experience!
  6. Hello everybody! Can somebody update my details please? I don't want to mess up the table. Good luck to everybody!
  7. I just got a message on my phone saying my interview has been scheduled and they will mail the letter out. My case is in the D.C. office! I was really expecting this message a couple of months later so this is great! Good luck everybody.
