  1. I was the same thing. My passport had been expired since 2011 so I had to renew it in case of emergency. My country required my original pp to be sent to them but they returned it together with the new one.I brought both passport on my interview for IO to see it. You/your husband may have to check the processing timeline in renewing pp in Jamaica and check if they need his expired pp as well. You have to make sure those documents will be at your hand on time before his interview.
  2. I was under 5 year rule too. The IO never asked for my tax papers but I brought it with me anyhow just in case. Unless you have all the copies of your tax returns, the only year available online & mail for the transcript was from the past 4 years.
  3. It will be the interview letter..sending positive vibes for you!
  4. Yes they played a video from the new President and no I didn't get a welcome letter at least yet
  5. So happy March filers are moving within the fair amount of time
  6. Closed from hurricane? I was worried too that there might have changed on my interview schedule at first but everything went as planned. So sorry for the delayed
  7. Yesterday was a very surreal moment when I had to surrender my gc and became a U.S citizen. Couldn't thank you enough to all of you guys who are here and was very nice to answer all of my questions during the process. I'm all looking forward to see you all in the finish line!
  8. Sorry if I may sound dumb but I would rather ask than make a mistake lol... Ok, I got confused! Two opposite instructions... ..."answer the questionnaire on the day of the ceremony(front page).." ..."you MUST bring the completed questionnaire to the ceremony(back page)...." Which one? Also.... Signed at_______________(city & state)........is this supposed to be the uscis address? How about... Full Address & zip code Street # & Name City or Town Is this my address?? Thanks in advance!
  9. Not sure why but there was this girl on the day of my interview, she asked the IO if there's another schedule ? He said that's all they have for right now. I'm 1 of 100 to sworn in tomorrow and their room capacity is 300. They will let family to come in for as long as it will not exceeded the capacity.
  10. Thank you! I had mine scheduled today, 9/26 @ 1:45 but they were running behind with their time so I wasn't called until 2:20. My IO was pretty nice. As soon as we get in to his office he asked me to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth. He then asked for my gc,dl, and passport. He had me start with the reading..."Who is George Washington?" then he handed me a piece of paper to write..."Washington was the first President." Then he said, "Now for the civic questions, are you ready? Well nevermind you have no choice(we both laughed)...I answered the first 6 questions and he said, "Very good! You blew it away!" Lol 1. Who is the Chief Justice of the United States now? 2. We elect a U.S. Representative for how many years? 3. The idea of self-government is in the first 3 words of the Constitution. What are these words? 4. In what month do we vote for President? 5. The House of Representatives has how many voting members? 6. Name one war fought by the U.S. in the 1900's? After the test, he went through my n-400 application pages by pages and asked questions just to validate what was written and to check you know your stuff. He asked why I didn't include information about my parents? I said it's because they're not here in the US. Anyhow, I PASSED!! I had to wait another 1.5 hr for the schedule of my Oath taking which is this Friday, 9/29 @ 8 a.m! Thank you all and wishing everyone good luck!

    Tax transcript

Yes under 5 years. And yes, we file our taxes every year. Thank you!

    Tax transcript

So it's okay to just bring 4 years of tax transcripts on my interview?
  13. I have signed up an account on irs to print my 5 year return transcripts online but it would only display the 4 years. I tried to get it by mail but on the drop down menu it still won't give me beyond 4 years. Thought I read it somewhere that it would let you access for up to 10 years??
