Hello Friends,
Parent in law has I-130 interview in Havana.
Per the pre-interview process, NVC approved all the civil documents required for the interview. One of the requested documents is the petitioner's marriage certificate. At the time of submission, we had the original marriage certificate. 4 days ahead of the interview, the marriage certificate was unfortunately lost.
We haven't successfully received guidance on the next step here. We have another official marriage certificate but it is not the same format (Cuba changed what the certificates look like) as the document submitted to the NVC. Do we reupload the marriage certificate (would that delay the process?) or do we just take this new but differently formatted marriage certificate for review during the interview?
Thanks!
