Hello:

My wife finally got an update saying her I-90 replacement green card was being produced on Friday, December 1. We have been waiting since February 2017 to receive a I-90 replacement green card and February 2016 since we originally sent in the paperwork before her first card was lost/not received.

Given the waiting, we are anxiously awaiting when the USCIS indicates the card will be mailed... We are hoping and praying that we receive the replacement green card this time since overall it has been 19 months total since the first card did not arrive in our mailbox!

Does anyone know how long the screen changes to mailed after produced? I have seen anything from 7-14 business days or longer. To make things worse, we are leaving to go to Sweden to visit my wife's family and friends through January 1st for the Holidays.

She has a temporary travel stamp to travel for a year so hopefully that will be allowed to come back into the US since we will not be home. What will happen if the green card arrives when we are gone? We already had this trip booked for four months. The best case is it arrives before we leave on December 15. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance,

Brian
