Hi to everyone I'm new to the forum and not sure if posting in the rite area (but if not please guide me ) i applied for n400 and went to my interview last week and most of it went smoothly I passed both tests, but the officer said that she needed to see the compliant to my divorce and the answer to the complaint. And I didn't have those I did have my certified divorce but she said she needed to see the complaint and answer, so I got a n652 stating that I passed both testes and that a decision couldn't be made so io said that a letter stating what I have to send in will be mailed to me in 1-2 weeks but to start looking for those bc I would have a 30 day deadline . So my question is has anyone here experienced being asked for complaint and answer to complaint ? While in the process of n400 , what I'm worried about is that I got my green card thru marriage and we now are divorced (her decision not mine ) I got my 10 year greencard in 2014 and my divorce was on dec 21 2015 now on the the compliant to the divorce my ex stated that we were separated since 1/1/14 (so divorce would be faster I believe ) I recived my 10 yr green card on or about 10/25/14 so im worried that by sending this in will make things worst so has anyone experienced something similar or what advice do u give me ?? I'm applying under the 5 yr rule so I didn't think these would effect me so I'm I better off not responding to it what would happen if I don't ?? Or what are my options. Thanks in advance and any help will greatly be appreciated srry for such long post
Hi everyone, I just passed my citizenship test yesterday everything was fine. I signed two papers I also signed on my Photographs. then I got this checked: you passed the tests of English ..... USCIS, will send you a written decision your application B) A decision cannot yet be made about your application. No idea why did I get this instead of congratulation checked. really worried about it. i singed two papers and photos, does it mean a good sign? I asked the IO why is this, she just told me after a decision is made you will get mail you. I passed, what else she need? if anything was wrong why didn't she tell me? please help me out if know anything about this kind of situation.
So I had my n400 interview today I went with my attorney coz I was detained with ice back in 2008 .the immigration officer she was unhappy today .it's seems having a bad morning .any way I got her to smile somehow she went through my n400 application step by step with to many questions. Where and when blah blah .I was wondering if she was trying to fail the interview .when we done with applications she moved forward to the civic questions. Which I answered the first 6 in 1 minutes and writing skills for less than amin .and reading one sentence successfully. (She said perfect ) I thought I will get approved .so she handheld me paper stated that I passed the English test and government history .the other box says decision cannot be made at this time . What the heck. I flow from Seattle to anchorege alaska and this is what I got...and even she asked me to many q about the dates I moved before my marriage and when I felt my self I am in a green card interview.which I answerd around that times .any help will be appreciated.
