Alla and I met online at Loversplanet.com. We talked as friends at first as we were both unsure what to think. We found we communicated with each other very easily. Each of us thinking the other either American or Ukrainian. After many day and even more hours of constant communication we found ourselves coming to not want to be without each other. We both when through hard times, virtually sharing each others pains, then decided to meet.
I tried to fly to to see her right before the Icelandic Volcano exploded ( what a mess! ) finally made it over to Kiev where I found the woman of my dreams waiting at the airport for me. Arrived at her apartment, greeted her son and gave gifts. She had dinner prepared for me and we ate. Spent the first night together and the rest of the two weeks never more than 15-20 mins apart.
I asked her parents for permission to marry her, bought her a ring and ate strawberries and drank champagne.
We now wait patiently for our Visa to approved to come together as man and wife and live the life we both want and deserve.
