  1. On February 1, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC**********, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. Greencard on the way! So happy! If someone could update list that would be great.. Good luck to all those still waiting.
  2. Thanks! Hmmmm.. I tried the other receipt number and got this notice: On January 29, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EAC**********, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 28, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
  3. I'm getting a bit worried about my case (receipt date 01/29/16) - every time I try to enter my receipt number from my I-797 extension letter in to the USCIS case status thing on the website it just says my receipt number is invalid. I'm omitting all dashes as the website recommends and including the EAC part as well as all the following 10 numbers. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Everyone else seems to get a different message than I do.. I also still haven't been to get a stamp in my passport as I had hoped I might receive my card any day now. I assume I should make an appointment soon and go to do that? It seems frustrating to have to drive all the way there given that I should receive my card any day now, but better safe than sorry right? Many thanks.
  4. Biometrics appointment notice arrived today - my appointment is for 03/01/2016 Please update me
  5. Hello! So my husband and I have a four month old baby. She was born here in the USA, but I am British and he is American. Presumably I can apply for British citizenship for our daughter? If so do I need to 'register' her with the UK authorities, or can I just go ahead and apply for a British passport for her? I am currently removing conditions on my US residency, but I don't think I'll ever become a full American citizen and we may one day decide to all go back to the UK and do everything in reverse (but um, not any time soon - I've done enough form filing for the time being, ha!)
