"ready" waiting for "issued" (London K1)

Hi all,

I had my K1 visa interview in London last Thursday (Thurs 17th July, 2014) at 9am. I left the embassy around 11:20am with an approval!

Now I'm waiting for my CEAC status to update from "ready" to "issued" so that I can see some progress post interview! I know there has been a lot of topics on this in the past but I wanted to revive it in a new thread here today. I'm hoping to receive my visa by the end of this week or start of next. Checking the average times from interview date to getting the passport with new visa back in hand, it looks like it should be around 7-10 days so it's only been 5 so far for me, but with no update on my CEAC status I'm turning here to share the boat with others in the same situation and/or seek some info from others who have been through this.

Any thoughts on how long this could/should take?

Based on recent anecdata, it should have gone through Administrative Processing and changed to Issued by now, with 7-14 days from interview for the visa to be in-hand depending on whether you pick it up at a depot or have it delivered to you. It's difficult to work out if it's already gone through AP unless you witness it yourself as we can't access status history.

If it doesn't change to Issued and you don't receive the tracking email by the end of next week, I would use the online contact form to submit an enquiry.
