I haven't been in the USA for long but I'm really eager to get things going as I'm getting bored sitting around.  I'm still waiting for my social security number to come in the mail. I need to open a bank account asap as I have work lined up, can I be added to my husband's account whilst waiting?  Also when my SSN does come through, is it easy enough to just walk into most banks and open an account?
