Am really sorry guys and girls I didn't log on lately :(

I missed you a lot :luv:, but I went threw a depressing job searching moment :bonk: . I'm either over-qualified, or just don't have the years experience :wacko:. i just want a job, no matter what it is :(. Oh well :dead:

Welcome to the U.S., Jess! It's been a long time coming, and this long peninsula of Florida delights to have your lovely self in it. Hope you're feeling better!

Congrats on the GC, Naddy! I hope the job search treats you better! Keep your chin up, and something great will reward you!

Our case was transferred back to the local office in Miami, presumably so that it can meet up with the medical file someday. I'm not going to worry about what's happening for another month or two, since Ewan is working and will be starting graduate school in January, we have no immediate need for the GC anyway. As long as we can get it before his work permit expires!

Hopefully it won't take that long, but just to give you a bit of reassurance, if you are still waiting for the GC and his EAD runs out, you can renew it without charge :)

All my friends and family start coming in for the wedding tomorrow - really excited to see my mum and my best friend!!! And my dress is hanging up in the spare room...it's very close now :)

Hey guys :)

Just wanted to show you a couple of piccies from our wedding last week, which was absolutely perfect and everything we hoped it would be! Apparently nobody could hear the ceremony cos the mic wasn't working, but there were dolphins swimming in the bay behind us, so noone wa paying attention anyway ;)

Filed for AOS on Wednesday, it was signed for in Chicago yesterday, so now just waiting anxiously for NOA1 - I hope we didn't forget anything!

Just been for my AOS & EAD Biometrics appointment. Arrived early and was out before i was even scheduled for the appointment. All-in-all about 30 mins. :)

Also got an update to say that my AOS was forwarded to CSC as they are processing applications faster.

1990(-ish): Family Holiday to FL. Met Nicole & family.

1990(-ish) - 1992(-ish): A few return visits

08-09/2007: Go back to FL. Meet with 'the folks' & Accept that we both 'like' each other & start dating.

02/2008 - Present: ...go back to FL again a few times.

09/2009: Propose and she says 'Yes'! :D

11/06/2009: I-129F posted to VSC

11/07/2009: I-129F received at VSC

11/09/2009: NOA1

11/13/2009: Touch

12/2009: ...back to FL once again

03/08/2010: Touch & NOA2 (119 Days)

03/11/2010: NVC have my case

03/12/2010: NVC incorrectly assigned & dispatched case to Dublin, not London!

03/18/2010: Package arrived in Dublin

03/19/2010: Ring Dublin and get case transferred to London

04/01/2010: London Sent 'P3'

04/03/2010: I Received 'P3'

04/14/2010: 'P3' sent back to embassy

04/16/2010: 'P3' recieved at embassy

04/29/2010: Medical - Passed

06/17/2010: Interview - In AP (220 Days)

08/17/2010: AP Finished - Approved

We have been called in for an interview for the greed card on January 18th, so hopefully that's the last thing to deal with before it's approved and we're done for a couple years!

Had my biometrics done yesterday as a walk-in in Orlando - 3 weeks earlier than my appointment which will hopefully give us a little boost!

Nothing to do but wait now...hope everyone is well and enjoying the start of their first full year spoused up! ;)

We had an RFE notification last night, suspect it's to do with my vaccination record (incomplete for medical reasons)...hopefully will find out today otherwise with MLK day it won't be til Tuesday earliest!

And thanks to all of you for the help and support through the journey. I'm happy to report that although the interview was a wee bit harrowing, we "passed", and I now get to see the wonderful approval notice in my email inbox! Wahoo!
