Hello, I am not sure if this is the proper way to communicate with you but I have a question. I am about a month behind in the process and already got my case number and invoice I’d number from NVC but have not got a packet 3 yet. Should I start doing DS 160 for my fiancé and her two kids before I get packet. I notice yours says you haven’t got packet but have interview appointment in August. I’m just worried about waiting and losing more time for appointment. Is there anything I can do before getting packet 3? NVC actually processed my visa already and received it About a week after yours. Also, how did you look to see when it leaves NVC? Any help is tremendously appreciated and hope you the best on this journey!

I didnt receive a packet 3... go on to ceac and click on " check my visa status"... you could also call the embassy and ask them to check if they have received it from nvc... you can start filling out the ds-160 you'll need the confirmation number to pay the fee and to schedule the appointment... when you call the embassy they could help you with it and make an account for you so you could do the payment and be able to do the appointment... hopefully this helps you out...

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
