1. Interview appointment scheduled for 7:30 AM (didn't really get followed). Arrived at USEM at around 6:45 AM. Leave electronic devices at your hotel, your family member or take the risk and leave it with the people outside of USEM for a hefty fee.
2. Line up outside by the tents. Prepare your passport (remove the jacket), appointment confirmation (first page only), DS-160 Confirmation (first page only).
3. Security check - you can't bring in any kind of electronic devices and food.
4. Line up and get your number stapled to your DS-160 confirmation.
5. Wait for your number to be called by one of the IV Greeters (in orange shirts). This could take a while, I was waiting for more than 2 hours before my number was called. Be wary on where you are sitting down, the left side is for tourist visas, the right side is for fiance, and other IV applicants. There's a mini canteen at the middle and they charge quite a lot. I bought a beverage and to my amazement, it costs triple than its price outside.
6. Once in the building, line up for Step 1 which includes checking of your personal information and they'll be getting the appointment letter.
7. Step 2, finger print scanning. Prepare your DS-160 and your USEM interview letter. If the latter is not available, you need to have proof of your case number like a CEAC screenshot or just memorize it. Make sure you wash your hands, the gentleman in front of me was asked to wash his hands after eating some chips. Make sure your hands are really clean and sweat free. After which they'll inform you on which window to go to next.
8. Line up for Step 3, this is where you get interviewed by a Filipino Consul. Prepare your NSO, CENOMAR, NBI Clearance, I-134 and 2014 Federal ITR of your fiance. Again, they'll sign on your DS-160.
9. Step 3, oath taking. Line up and read the oath that is tacked beside the window. It could be in Ilocano, Tagalog, Visayan or in English. Again, make sure your hands are clean and sweat free as they'll be asking for your finger prints.
10. Step 4, interview proper. Wooo! This is it, the interview with the American Consul. Mine was very nice and cheery and only asked 3 questions. Didn't even take a look at the evidence I prepared. Didn't look at anything I brought with me except for the DS-160. It was very fast, maybe 10 minutes.
11. Step 5, releasing. This is where they'll inform you if you need to submit anything else (221G) or if its all ok to go. Mine was all ok to go and just informed me to wait for a text from 2GO if the Visa is ready to be picked up.
