Comments : if you have lived in US before and have been stopped by a cop and given a speeding or parking ticket, make sure you answer ‘yes’ in the questions towards the end of the 485 form where it asks if you have been arrested, penalized, convicted or given citation. I said no but the answer is yes if you were stopped anytime by the cop and given a citation.

Local US CIS Office Review: Charlotte NC

Event Description
Review Date : October 12, 2019
Embassy Review : IO grilled me on a traffic citation I had gotten 6-7 years on a student visa because I had been stopped by a traffic popo. IO was jsut having fun with me cuz he knew our case was true and nothing to doubt about it. So he grilled me and had fun with me. My wife said we should be fine whereas I was kinda over thinking. Overall it was fine process. Reached 40mins before interview date and was called in after 10-15mins and done in 20 or so odd Minutes. I’m a beneficiary and now a permanent resident
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
