Comments : No interview was required and EAD and AP weren't processed because AOS was approved first. I had missed the original biometrics appointment that was given and had thought that I would be considered as abandoning my application. By luck I was able to get it done by just walking in. Overall entire process took 90 days, a lot quicker then I thought it would take.

Consulate Review: Sydney, Australia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 17, 2016
Embassy Review : Straight away I saw on the desk my birth certificate that I provided and I knew straight away that we weren't going to be approved on the day =( I knew he was going to say there was something wrong with it! He told us that we needed to provide the household registration record instead and provided us with a print out of the information that can be found on the website. Needless to say we were so disappointed!

Anyway in regards to the interview. The wait was long but the interview was pretty quick. He only asked a few questions about how we met and dates. He asked what my fiance was doing in Australia. Asked about the times we have met. Asked about date of engagement. Pretty pain free. The man was pleasant enough.
Rating : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
