I was scheduled to do my oath ceremony on January 5, 2023. On December 18, I sent mail to our local field office requesting to reschedule my oath ceremony due to travel. I included the original copy of the form, my request letter and a copy of my flight ticket/information. I still haven’t heard back from USCIS and I have not been rescheduled. I am so worried and I tried calling and I was told on December 29 that a tier 2 would call me. The oath ceremony is this Thursday. What should I do? Help!

I got DQ'd yesterday, Nov. 29, 2022. But, something urgent came up and I need to stay in my country for some more time (uncertain how long, but maybe months: 5-6 months). How far can I push my interview back? "There is no fee to change an appointment and visa application fees are valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid." - U.S. Embassy Website, Philippines My questions are: 1. If I understand this correctly, I can push my interview back to a maximum of a year from when the fees were paid, correct? 2. When can I reschedule? I haven't received an appointment letter yet, so I'm not sure if I'm even eligible to reschedule. Do I have to wait for my appointment / interview letter before rescheduling?

Hello, I just got my appointment notice yesterday and it says that I'm going to have the appointment in Miami on 4/26/2021, the only problem is that I live in Jacksonville which is 6-7 hours away from Miami and right now, it's not impossible, but it's a little bit complicated to go. I was wondering if I can go to the center here in Jacksonville, without having to wait again 4 to 8 weeks. I sent everything back in August 2020 and I just got my biometrics appointment, so I don't wanna wait that long again. I read about people with the same problem and they just went to the nearest office, like a week before the appointment, and they had no problem. I really don't know what to do.

Hi. I received an email on Thu with a new appointment date for May. Our original interview date was last year but got cancelled due to Covid. The problem I have is that the email was written by a human and just gave us the date and that instructions would soon follow. However, we still have not received the "official" interview letter which one is required to have in hand on the interview day. Has anyone ever rescheduled or know of someone who has rescheduled and how they were able to get the new IL letter sent to them? I need to get that IL ASAP but because all of this is unusual because of the Covid cancelations and manual reschedul8ng, I am very concern I may not get an official IL sent to me again.

Hello, A quick overview of my timeline before I ask a question: Baltimore, MD 1/13/2020 Application Received 1/17/2020 Biometrics Scheduled 1/27/2020 Biometrics Attended/Reviewed 9/9/2020 Interview Scheduled 10/14/2020 Scheduled Interview Date However, I'm a semiconductor engineer and I have a business trip to Korea from 9/27/2020 to 1/4/2021. This trip is very important and accommodations like housing are already arranged. I am planning to reschedule my interview and I head that I need to follow the rescheduling instructions on the interview notice that I got and explain my situation by mail. My question is, will USCIS reschedule my interview after I return from Korea? Or is it completely random and they may reschedule it before I come back to the States? I don't mind the extra wait due to rescheduling, but I cannot return to the States and go back to Korea due to the Korea's COVID-19 prevention and quarantine law. Thank you in advance and feel free to give me any extra advices. Stay safe and good luck to everyone!
