I am married to my spouse who is a USC and filed for I-130 and I-485 in May 2022. When sending out my documents, I didnt send out the I-693 as I was still searching for vaccination documentation and planned on presenting it during the interview. I recently received two RFE's. 1. RFE for Birth certificate. - I have fixed the problem and I am getting ready to send that out. 2. RFE for I693. I wanted to know if I could only send the birth certificate to USCIS right now and wait until the interview to show I693. I am in doubt because the RFE letter states, if you send them incomplete documents, they will reject the case. Would not sending the I693 be considered sending incomplete documents or can I wait until I get an interview date to get I693 done. Thanks in advance.

Hello! 😊 I received an RFE in May. I went ahead and uploaded the documents and also mailed in. The RFE letter said to mail in, nothing about uploading. The upload was done one day before the tracking number for the envelope said delivered. So, on my portal it says “RFE Recieved” for the uploaded documents I uploaded. However, there is no indication (other than a FedEx tracking number) that the physical documents was delivered to USCIS. There is no upload of physical documents (same set as the documents I uploaded, just a printed version). What do you guys think I should do? It’s been more than a month. Vermont service center. Anyone with a similar experience? Advice? thanks!!

RFE states to submit more evidence to prove parent-child relation. Two evidence can be sent: "school records" and a baptismal certificate. 1. SCHOOL RECORD: All schools have lost my records. However, they're willing to sign a paper that verifies that I went there and that my parent's name was used. Is this "paper" considered as an affidavit? 2. BAPTISIMAL CERTIFICATE: I'm getting one this week so it will be a very NEW document. RFE states to submit OLDEST available document. Should I still get this certificate?

Hello community! We received a RFE for our Form 864, my husband (petitioner) is the main sponsor and we are going with his mom as a joint sponsor. Here is the RFE: You have submitted Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, from the joint sponsor, ELEANORE BROOKS RICHARDS. We are unable to process the I-864 because it has one or more deficiencies. In order for us to process your application further, you must: Submit a completed and signed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, from the joint sponsor. All pages must be present and of the latest edition date - We did it, last edition and signed Provide the joint sponsor's Social Security Number on Form I-864 - We did it Provide a complete and correctly calculated household size for the joint sponsor on Form I-864 - His mom lives alone, so we put household 2 on my husband's form (he and I) and 2 on his mom's form (she and I) - that's correct? Submit a complete copy of the joint sponsor's Federal income tax return, including all supporting tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules) filed with the return, for the most recent tax year. - We sent the Form 1040 for 2020 (joint sponsor) and my husband sent tax transcript for 2020. Submit evidence of the joint sponsor's status as a United States citizen, United States National, or Lawful Permanent Resident - We did it, birth certificates and passports We think that the issue was with the tax documents because they are a bit complicated (40pages) as his mom's income comes from a trust. We are thinking to send now the IRS 2020 transcript instead of tax documents (W2, 1099, 1040) and sending this time also for the 2019 & 2018 (for both, my husband and his mom). She made 46k in 2020, should we send more evidence? Because it is a trust we are not sure what else can we send (she doesn't have pay stub or work relate documents) Any help is greatly appreciate!

Hey all, I already finished my biometrics a few months ago, and we got a Request For Evidence this week. What we need to give, and for some reason we didn't realize we had to show it for the 3rd time, is: Marriage Certificate (from my home country) Translated to English version of the Marriage Certificate Both of those documents we have handy and ready to send, but the marriage certificate and the translation are from Dec. 2017 (almost 4 years now). Would that come up as an issue since the documents are a bit older? We can somehow get a new copy with more current day (it would be a bit annoying to do so), and a translation, but is that needed? Any advice is much appreciated!

Hi all, While returning my request for additional evidence I did not put the original request form or a cover letter in my return letter. Will this result in a denial or cause any problems?
