Hi, can someone please help us out? My brother’s visa class all of a sudden changed from IR2 to F11 after his case was forwarded to the US eMbassy in manila. we already reached out to both the embassy and nvc but did not get a concrete answer other than his visa class is still IR2 on both of their ends. We are wondering if we need to do anything else prior to his interview on the 8th next month. Just want to make sure this does not affect his visa approval. Thanks in advance for anyone who will help.
Hello friends, hope that you are in the best of health upon reading this thread. I have a couple of questions that would love to have answered. I have been in the queue for a F2B visa (adult child of a PR) since 2014, and things have been going according to plan (although extremely slow) up until now. Due to the presidential proclamation imposed by the late president, some visas were postponed until after the 31st of March 2021. Not too long ago on Feb 24, President Biden has revoked the proclamation and I've read that visa processings will return back to normal. I was documentarily qualified on NVC as of Feb 4th and I am currently 1 month in the wait for the email that will state the next process which I will have to undertake to secure an interview for my visa, but as you've noticed, I am currently a blind man walking down that path. Neither the consulate nor NVC will clarify any waiting times as when to expect the email to arrive nor will anyone publish any dates of which cases they are working on. If you have any news or input regarding the matter, or require any further information to help you help me, please shine as much light on the matter as possible, and I hope that many others would benefit from this post as well. Regards
Hello everybody, I am a European citizen affected by the travel ban via presidential proclamation barring anyone who has been in the UK, Ireland or EU within the past 14 days, from entering the US. Acording to the proclamation, spouses of US citizens are exempt from the ban. I currently do not have a greencard or other residence permit (permanent or otherwise). From what I understand, I will be able to enter the States with my European passport and evidence of marriage, correct ? Has anyone with a valid ESTA registration travelled under this exception since the ban has come into effect ? If so, would you mind sharing if you experienced any issues ? What else do I have to watch out for ? What proof did you have to present at the point of entry ? Were there any issues with the airline ? I look forward to your answers. Thanks and best regards.
Please can we get this petition signed to lift the ban on immigration into the USA until the end of the year. It’s only June and 6 months is not a joke in waiting to join with loved ones. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/cancellation-proclamation-suspending-legal-immigration-united-states-june-22-2020
