  1. Hi All, After my N-400 application got approved I took US Citizenship Oath on 10/10/18 and received the Naturalization Certificate the same day. The next day i received an email from USCIS regarding my N-400 application stating the following: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL *** There has been a recent processing action taken on your case. Receipt Number: IOExxxxx Application Type: N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION Your Case Status: Decision On October 11, 2018, we issued your Certificate of Naturalization for your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number IOE0xxxxxxx. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision. Log-in to your myUSCIS account to view your case history and understand what you can expect to happen next on your case. Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at under Check Processing Times. Sincerely, **** The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) *************** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since after this email I have not received any (approval/denial) letter either in the mail or email its been over 2 weeks. Just to give you a little background ..... on the Oath letter which i received there were some question on the back of it where you have to say yes/no to the some questions. So i have selected yes to one of the question where it ask "If i have traveled outside the US since i have been interviewed." Since i did traveled for 2 and half months so i mentioned the dates right next to the question as supervisor asked me to do so, then he asked me several questions regarding my whereabouts like where i have been traveled too, and what if I have kept my job in US while i was gone and if I own the house or renting a place and so on. But he (the supervisor) never asked for any of the proofs of that trip. Even though I did took all the proofs along with me (my rental lease, my car insurance, my utility bills, tax returns, paystubs, bank statements, etc...) along with me to justify my continuous resident in US while i was gone, but supervisor didn't ask for anything as i mentioned earlier and he simply put his remarks on the Oath Letter (form) and i was asked to go and take the oath so i did and got the Naturalization certificate and also registered for the voter registration right there. On the same day I also applied for my US passport and I have already got it in within 17 days. So i am not sure what is the purpose of this email which i have received just a day after the Oath? Is there anything to worry about? PS. I have taken the Oath on 10-oct and in the email they mentioned the Certificate of Naturalization was issued on 11-oct isn't it strange. I was wondering if anyone had a similar scenario or experience kindly please share Thanks !
  2. Hello, our k1 was approved and the CEAC website switched today from "in administrative processing" to "issued." We called the Visa pick up location and they said they do not have the Visa yet. Does anyone know how long it will take to be able to pick up the visa at this point? Thank you!
  3. Checked CEAC several hours ago, and it said it was in Administrative Processing. Checked again before heading to bed, and it is now showing ISSUED. It's been a long road for us, but the destination is in sight. I posted this the other day: Back in December '17, my fiance had her original medical and interview. During the medical, she admitted to having used amphetamine in the past. Her urinalysis came back negative for meth/amphetamines. At the interview all went well except for the drug issue. Visa was understandably refused. She was told to get rehab and have the Bumrungrad hospital drug counselor sign off on her being drug free. Fast forward to late May. Since 6 months had or will have transpired, the embassy had her set up another medical appointment. She did the appointment, got the needed paperwork from the drug counselor, and the rest of the paperwork needed. It was all resubmitted to the emabassy. All of the paperwork was submitted by 12 June. During this time when I was checking CEAC, there were several updates, but status was still refused. On the 19th, I sent an email to get an up date. I was told it was in Administrative Processing (still showing refused on CEAC). Overnight the fiance sent me a message (a screenshot from CEAC) on Facebook. The status then showed "Ready" Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled by the Consular section. If you have already scheduled an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in the appointment letter and appear at the consulate at the appointed date and time. Otherwise please wait until you have your interview appointment. Additional information regarding Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled at http://nvc.state.gov/interview. I checked this morning, and the status now reads "Application Received" Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application. Now I'm even more confused. Will my fiance need to do another interview? Is it possible that it will change to "Issued" in 2 days? Fiance says that she didn't get an email from the Embassy.
  4. On the 18th of May the CEAC website updated and let me know that my visa has been issued! I've never been more ecstatic about anything in my life! My question is, as my visa was issued on a friday how long will it be before I receive some tracking information? Can I expect to hear from them soon via email or will I have to keep checking somewhere else for some information? Thanks for your help!
  5. My fiance had his interview last April 3, 2018 and was told at the USEM that his visa was approved. He was advised by the consul to expect his visa in 5-10 business days. Checking the CEAC status reveals that it is still READY for interview but last updated April 10, 2018 but no change in status (e.g. AP or Received) What is the average time or duration from visa approval (interview) at USEM to visa issued? From the status ISSUED, how many more days till you can claim or pick-up passport and visa at MOA? He only needs the CFO sticker, he already underwent the seminar weeks ago. Thanks. Would appreciate any feedback especially for folks who had their interviews March and April 2018.
  6. Hi everyone, Just wondering if there is a record of any recent times it took for people to get 'issued' and receive passports back? I am feeling a bit anxious because I have already booked my plane tickets (now wishing I had waited...) for the 14th Dec, my interview was on 21st Nov. According to the CEAC tracker, my case was updated to 'case received' on 24th Nov. There has been no more updates and I have been checking it multiple times per day - from what I've seen people are usually in AP or issued by this stage so I'm just a bit concerned. Does the CEAC tracker always update?
  7. Hey Guys, Me again! Haha my CEAC case tracker thingy ma bob now says "Issued" yay! Im meant to be collecting it at a local centre. How will I know when it's there? Thanks!
  8. Hello all, First and foremost let me say thank you to all of you who have helped me in this process. I don't know if I would've got through it without you all. My husband's visa was approved yesterday. He was told it would be ready for pickup in ten days. I logged into the CEAC website a few minutes ago and this status says "Issued." And the box underneath says: Your visa has been printed. Depending on local procedures at the location where you were interviewed, your visa will be mailed or available for pickup soon. If there are further questions, or if we need updated contact information, you will be contacted. For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV. On average now long after issued status is the visa ready for pickup? Thanks all!!!
