I've already had my interview. The only thing stopping my visa is my husband's income from previous years wasn't enough. The embassy said we can get a cosponsor but nobody we've asked will cosponsor me. He recently started a new job that will pay enough to meet the requirements. Will the embassy accept a letter from the HR department at his new job that shows he will meet the income requirements or are we out of luck without a cosponsor?

Hi everyone, I have a quick question. My spouse, the US citizen, lives abroad with me and our son. I understand we would need a joint sponsor in this case however, if there are multiple people living in the house we will be going back to in the US, can all those incomes be combined to help us meet the minimum income requirements? Can we just ask those people to submit their most recent tax returns? What would be the process to include their income in the i864ez? Thank you!

Hi good people. I was reading the rules on the I-864 form and it states that - The I-864 is the Affidavit of Support form that requires copies of the petitioners *past 3 U.S tax returns* (or tax transcripts) What if I the spouse has Only been in the US for 2 years and do not have a 3rd year tax return what do we do. Has anybody ever been in such a situation. Thank you in advance.

How everyone please help me understand because I have googled and research with various information I am not to sure of the real facts where do you submit the form I-864 is it included in the initial application when you start of as a petitioner or do you wait until they actually request for it. When does one actually fill and submit this form please please help.

Hi. We've been gathering docs from our co-sponsor (who lives in california), and instead of 1040 she sent us this. I assume it is not the 1040 and I can't bring it to the interview, right? Also, another question. She also attached the W2 (the real one, everything is fine with it) to this. Can I even bring a W2 without a normal 1040? Thanks a lot for your help.
