Hello, When USC files I130 for foreign spouse and her child, I understand each need to file I130 petition for a visa. Since its two petitions being filed, one for spouse and one for the stepdaughter, do each of the applicants receive their own NVC case number? When filling out DS 260 for the child, I assume only the sections that apply for her should be filled out. She is a minor, and DS 260 ask questions about the spouse, prior employment, etc. This should be filled out just for the child? or the Mother/spouse needs to wait for her own NVC number so she can go on CEAC.STATE.GOV to sign the documents and pay her own separate fees, correct?
Hey guys, Two months ago we filled the DS-261for the choice of agent and already paid the AOS processing fee, however, it's been already two months and I haven't been able to pay the IV processing fee because it shows $0 in the Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center and I dont know why is it taking so long. I read that they need to process the DS-261 before unlocking the fee but I think it's been too long. Has anyone of you been in this situation? How long it will take until I can pay the IV processing fee?
Hi all, OK, did I screw up? I, the petitioner, just paid AoS (Affidavit of Support) fees of 120$ just minutes after my wife, the beneficiary, filed DS-261 (agent choosing form). Is that OK or did I really eff things up bad? In my defence, I received an email with a 4-page attachment showing me the Affidavit of Support Fee Invoice. But on the first page, it did say I should have waited for 3 weeks for DS-261 to be approved to pay the fees. She is screaming at me over the phone... Please help. Urgent.
