Hey friends! I'm curious, at what point of the process do I go for my police background check/ clearance? I am the beneficiary and I live in Canada. I heard a lot of mix up and controversy about which type of forms you need (there are two options for this in Canada?) Do any of you happen to know exactly which form you need? Can you go to any RCMP building or must you go to specific ones that are required by the embassy (like the medical)? Does my husband (the petitioner) need a police check? Thanks!
Hello i need some help and guidance, my girlfriend and I have been dating for a little over a year now and i want to bring her here to the US through the Cr-1 or K1 visa process. heres the story i met my girlfriend online and i have talked to her over video and direct message message for the past year, she lives in Venezuela and i am a US citizen, it took us a long time to get the passport but after a lot of money and time it finally arrived. we are now working on getting her personal documents and criminal records so that she can travel out of the country legally (we don't want anything holding us up in the future). we are doing everything we can to be together but the current situation in Venezuela is very bad and not making it easy. that being said we have been trying to get her out of the country to Peru, so that i can visit her and actually start the visa process. she does not want to return to Venezuela for any reason! i have a couple questions to help me decide my best course of action. 1. which spousal visa would be the best in my situation the cr-1 or the K1? 2. with either of these routs would she have to travel back to the country of origin to start the visa process, or would it be her current country of residence? 3. what are my options moving forward with this? 4. what is the expected wait time for this? 5. will her not wanting to return to Venezuela be a problem? thank you so much for the responses!
Sorry for the title gore, but we only recently found out that USCIS has never even received the paperwork we submitted. We ended up getting Married in September when she arrived, and we're worried she might have to go back to her home country since her visa states it expires November 11th. What should we do in this case? Is there an expedition process? Is there anything we should prepare for? We're about to send another batch of paperwork and money order with an overnight ( as well with all the same verification we used before ). Just a little shaken up and worried about what's to happen- we don't want to interfere with anything and we certainly don't want ICE banging down our door..
😵😱I'm confused!!!!So I'm trying to find out how to get my fiances family to the US for our Wedding Next Year. I don't know how this work as far as having a big family from another country apply for a visa all at once. I have a lot of elderly people that can't travel for 15 hours or more to his country! I really want to help all of his family (that will attend) get their visas on time for the wedding. 1>) My question is does it matter if they do their tourist visas online or at the embassy if its a large group of people? 2>) Is there an option to allow them (his family) to do a group visa to pay one big fee depending on how many people will be attending! <<Is there a such thing as a group visa?<< 🤣 Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
