thanks mohamed My spouse and child is coming on IR1/IR2 visa , through united airline from New Delhi to Seattle but POE will be EWR . There will be only 2.35 hours layover at EWR . How much time does it take going through CBP/DHS and security . Moreover, I hope she is not required to check-in bags again, since she did it at the origin ( New Delhi to Seattle ) through United Airline. Also, I heard staff at this POE are not humble as google reviews reveled. Please , share if someone has such experience or any advice to handle it with ease ...Replies will be appreciated... Regards

Hello everyone, I am living in Canada and my spouse is in the US. She is sponsoring me and our case is currently with NVC and by the looks of it, I will not be in the US for another 8+ months or so (hoping for it to be sooner of course, but it's looking quite unlikely). I saw a thread about tips and tricks for building a credit score in the US but, I'm not sure if I saw anything that relates to my current situation. Because I won't be living and working in the US for at least 8 months and I won't have a SSN until then, how can my wife and I get a joint credit card to start building our credit score in the meantime? Is this even possible considering I don't have a US SSN? Is opening a US credit card even possible let alone building credit? I don't have a US bank account either and I'm not sure if that is required. My wife of course does have a bank account and has great credit. Would love any info that can be provided! Thank you

Hello friends, does anyone know what’s the next status after “Immigrant visa fee payment received”? It says they will mail the card within 90 days of entry to the US or payment (whichever happens the latest). But I was wondering if we should just wait for the card in the mail or if there’s any status update I can track. Thank you
