My wife is in the Philippines and I am here in the USA and am a US citizen. I am the petitioner and my wife is the benificiary for the i130z We filed our i130 04/21/22. My question is will the USCIS schedule my wife for biometrics in the Philippines before approval, denial or RFE? And will they schedule a biometrics appointment for me here in the states before approval, denial, or RFE? Thanks for your time.

Hi guys, I really need your advice. I'm currently waiting for my work authorization and adjustment of status petitions, I filed both of them in May, there was barely any progress on both cases. We moved to a different town in July, changed the address straight away, even got the CONFORMATION that it has been changed. In the end of September I suddenly get a message that i missed my biometrics appointment, and the notice has been returned back to USCIS because USPS "could not deliver it". I obviously called USCIS right after, I've been told that the address has not been changed at all and that I have to do it all over again in order to get my bio rescheduled. I did change it, with a conformation on the phone, after that I've been promised by several different USCIS representatives that I will be given a new biometrics date within a month. So, I did everything right on my part, but they still messed it up, and now I have to deal with this. I'm waiting for that reschedule since September. I call them like 10 times a month, constantly asking what the hell is going on, I always get the same response - "you have to wait for 30 days in order for us to schedule it. Can't help you right now, you have to wait" I really don't know what to do. I cannot get my biometrics rescheduled since the end of September, and every single time i call USCIS they basically tell me to piss off. Have any of you guys had the same problem before? Is it even possible that I will get it rescheduled eventually or do I have to hire a lawyer or something to make these idiots do their job?

Has anyone changed the address before getting a biometrics appointment notice? I applied for AOS in Feb 2021.Then I moved to LA from Hawaii.I applied for the address changing online after I moved. One day, I was wondering when my bio appointment is. Then I called USCIS. They said my appointment was on 27th July in Honolulu. However I have not got the mail and the system wasn’t updated. So I asked reschedule the appointment. Then of course, they have been ignoring me.No mail, No call, No update. •Is there anyone who changed the address during AOS process? •How long does it take to be approved? I applied for the address changing 1 month before but still on progress…. •Has anyone rescheduled the bio appointment before? How…? I’m so disparate. I don’t know what to do. It would be great if anyone shared the experience… Thank you!

Hi guys! Yesterday I gave my biometrics for the i-765 and my case hasn't been updated yet to fingerprints taken! Is this normal? How long does it take to be updated? I'm a little worried because when I gave my biometrics for the i-485 application, the case status was updated the very next day to fingerprints taken (and to 'ready to schedule an interview' two days later) and also because my appointment for the work permit was for May 28th, but I went yesterday hoping that they would accept a walk in (and surprisingly, after a thousand questions and a long wait, they did accept) and I'm worried that that's an irregularity of some kind and my biometrics went lost (yes, I'm overworrying, I know l ol)
