I was with my fiance during her POE, we went through the General line. As I went ahead towards the CBP he directed his first question to me
CBP:"Are you guys related?"
ME: "She is my Fiance
CBP: Is she entering on a K1"
Me: Yes
He went on to ask a few general questions
How long you guys known each other?
When are you guys planning to get married. Just remember to get married within 90 days.
What do you work as?
Are these your bags, do you have anything to declare?

I think the Pre Clearance POE is better since you dont have to wait in line after a 15-16 hr flight, Your bag reaches your final destination unlike where you pick your bags go through customs and then again check your bags
