Her interviewed was 01-12-2010. The consulate asked for the translation copy of her National ID. Fortunately, she had it ready. Her visa was delivered 2 days later.

Arrived at the Embassy at 8:00am,got in line with everyone else outside the embassy and the 8:30am interviews were called in at 8:15am. I was originally denied entry with my fiance, and had to talk to two different guards before I could get someone to look at the email I had, from the Embassy, stating I was allowed to attend the interview with the beneficiary.
Once inside, everyone was very friendly. Got inside at 8:45am, finger printed by 9:15am and called to the interview window at 9:50am. Woman was very friendly, but did seem a bit surprised to see me there with him. I definitely think that went in our favor. After she said hello she said, "I've seen the emails, I've seen the photos, so... tell me how you met your fiance." Once he answered that question, she looked at me and said, "and passport shows you've been to Turkey several times to see him." then she asked him what he intended to do once he was in the US..once approved for EAD, he will work in my company until he can find something else.. so then she asked me how business was in the Amusement park industry with the state of the economy.. we talked about that for about one minute and she said, "I've seen all I need to see.. take this to the UPS counter and you will have your Visa by Friday." That was it.
Very fast, friendly.. and a good out come
Definetly recommend getting an email from the Embassy, stating you can enter, if you plan to attend the interview with the beneficiary. If I didnt have that email.. I wouldn't have gotten past the front sidewalk.
I did have to email the embassy, 5 times, before I could get a response saying I was allowed to attend.. dont wait until the last minute to send an email to them. It took weeks to get a response.

The interview was at 08:30am. I was there at 07:45 but they told me to come at 08:15. There were many people waiting and applying for different types of visas. It was 09:15 when I was in the waiting room. First they called for fingerprints and then for the interview. It was 11:10 when they called me for the interview. It lasted only 5 min. The lady was very kind and asked me how we communicate, when we met last time and about my former visit to US. Then she said "now you are going back, have a nice trip". The interview was very short and kind but I`d waited so long and that was very stressful and my visa came 3 days later.
