According to fiance, interviewer was kind. They requested approved I-129F (which didn't specify to bring in the packet of instructions), evidence of last visit, photos, and a couple other docs. Questions (in no order) were:

What is your fiance's name?
Where does your fiance live?
What does your fiance do for a living?
How many times have you met?
Have you ever been married?
Do you have any kids?
Have you ever been to the US?
Do you own a house?
Where do you live currently?
Have you ever lived abroad?

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My wife arrived in good time, about 30 minutes before appointment time. The following is a second hand review as related from my wife. In general she said "nobody smile", everybody was not friendly. The Thai lady that she saw first was brusque. My wife had made a mistake (I missed this) and had some additional pictures taken that I did failed to review. These did not meet specification (not a white background). She was told to go (not sure if inside building or outside) and had some quickly taken that met the standard and returned to the Thai lady. My wife sat waiting with the accordion folder held in her lap. I had organized everything by number and title to the required documents. As my wife sat waiting.. the Thai lady chastised her saying her paperwork was not prepared. uhh... yes it was... anyhow.... some miscommunication and the Thai national got irritated. My wife was waiting for her to ask for each different "set" of papers and the Thai person wanted the entire stack. Anyhow....The next person was the interviewer would was a "Farang" and my wife got on just fine with her. That lady was pleasant and helpful. That final appointment face-to-face took about 5 minutes. I did make another mistake were I did not upload my wife's name change certificates. I missed this because at a final check the week before I found I had missed getting this paperwork entirely. There was a mad scramble to get the documents found and then translated. In the rush, I had missed uploading the originals and scans to the website. The embassy kept the originals and they will return them (I guess) when they send her the passport with the visa in it.

My fiancé arrived to the Consulate BNK at 0630 and was #2 in line and the consulate opened at 0700 to let the people in. She dressed in a nice jacket an slacks along with my K2, they looked very business professional. She was finished at 0930.

A little background. We had our interview on Jan 5 at 0730 an on jan 3 we were going thru the the order (over the phone video call) that the consulate wonted the documents in an in the section on Divorce documents it read:

Termination of Marriage or Death Certificates: Original and copy. ***Both*** the petitioner and
applicant must present certificates for the legal termination of ***any*** prior marriages or of the
death of a prior spouse. Please place the English translation of this document on top of the
original. If you do not have the ***original, a certified copy*** can be accepted instead of the original. After
reviewing, we will return the original documents.

We some how missed this very important notice in the section. So my first marriage ended in divorce in 1993. So i had to send PDF of both the death cert and the divorce dissalusion.I only had the divorce dissalusion not the decree so i PDF it to her so she had something. i could not get the originals to her in time.. I thought for sure we were enroute to an Admidstrative hold. My fiancé was worried but still went to the interview confident with just the copies.

When she was called to the window she and my K2 stepdaughter went there and the interview began:
Questions not in this specific order:
1-how long have you known your fiancé
2-how many times has he been to thailand
3-was he married before
4-does he have children
5-does he visit his children alot
6-when was the last time he was in BKK
7-do you have a picture of him and you on his last visit here
K2 question
1-how old are you

Then the agent went thru the documents and started to separate them by don't need this, don't need this.

The agent finally kept only my copy of the Death certificate, Divorce papers that was dissolved in 1993 an my bio page of my pass port.and returned the rest

We came well prepared with a photo album with lots of labeled pictures and she was like thats ok thats a lot.

She said congratulations you have passed and we will mail you the visa within 10 days..

The agent was nice, understanding, courteous and kind even tho she was mostly all business.

Finally finished with Part 1- 20 months timeline.

Good luck an god bless

My fiancé's interview went very smoothly. They only asked a few basic questions, such as where I worked, how long we've known each other, etc. It was over and done quickly. The only issue was that he had translated his documents (birth certificate, single certificate, and military records) himself and included the certification statement, but he was told by the person processing the documents that self-translations were not accepted. We were worried this meant we'd get a request for documentation and have to translate them, but they never sent him a notice and he got the visa a few days later! (Interview on Tuesday, visa issued Friday, received passport on Saturday).
