I still don’t understand why this website doesn’t have Kyrgyzstan u.s. embassy. But i had my interview in Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. Everything went well and super easy. The interview took only 5-7 minutes.

Very pleasant interview at the embassy. I had to come at 7 am and sit on the bench outside of the embassy at the waiting area with the other applicants. We waited till the embassy workers told us to stand up and line up to the entry kiosk where a lady checked out documents. So one by one we went inside the embassy. Phones were left in the security area they had tiny boxes to keep the phones. Bags were not allowed inside and security area doesnt have any space for them but paper bags (like the one from NMC) was allowed, so you would have to either leave it in your car, or dont bring bags all together, since they will ask you to leave it outside. The parking lot is huge and has a lot of room. Good experience overall

I hope it will be helpful for my fellow kazakh and kyrgyz k1 applicants since there was no update on consulate review since 2013. My NOA 2 was approved on July 29 and NVC received my package on August 22 (yes took almost 1 month ). Almty consulate received my package sometime in September.
So i got my interview date which was in October 14th. I have received package 4 stating that i only need to provide documents that are listed in this packet. On October 13th i did my medical which took about 1 hour, Xray and blood test. Note: Took all your medical cards you have so you can tell exact dates of taking tests, vaccines and disease you have. On October 14th in the morning i stopped by Medical place picked up my envelope (do not open it ) and brought it to the consulate along with other documents stated in the list. My interview was at 8 am. I have arrived at 7:40 and stayed there for 20 mins freezing (so my advice arrive 10 mins before, cause the anyways let you in exactly at 8). We were only 4 peple including me. (three of others were green card lottery applicants). I was the first, i turned in all my docs and paid fee. So the consular guy called my name and i went to this small room and sat there. As usual, he asked me to raise my right hand and pledge. He asked i want to speak russian or english, i preferred english. He did not ask for any pictures, tickets or I 134 form. I saw he had my package we sent to USCIS before and he looked at pictures there. He asked how did i meet my fiance, what does he do now, where is he now, why did i change my last name and does my fieance or i have kids, and was one of us married before or not. I answered all this and he told me everything looks good and told me my visa will be ready the day after tomorrow.
So overall my interview was 4 minutes i think.
one day later i went to pick up my package and visa, everyone was very nice and polite except that security woman (she was mean and i told her that she a rude one and she needs to be think about it).
thats pretty much it. i hope i helped someone who is from kazakhstan or kyrgyzstan
It took me 10 months from applying till getting my visa in hand. such a long journey. but we are done with the first step. Hanging in there guys, it worth it

My experince with the Embassy was generaly positive. They were fast and efficient. I've recieved my visa the next day. However, I couldn't reach the Embassy at the time when the Council specificaly told me to call.
It'd be great if they could issue immigrant visas the same day to the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Also since they operate as Central Asian hub for imigrant visas, maybe it'd make sense to have a separate phone number for immigrant visa questions or to have more detailed information on their web page.
The Consular Officer seemed to be nice and pleasant.

According to my fiance Adilet, the interview process was very easy going and even fun! The Consul and Adilet made a few jokes here and there, so they broke the ice right away. The interview lasted for only a couple of minutes; about 5-7 simple qustions were asked. Overall, the experience was nice.
