Arrived 7.45am for an 8am interview. By 7.58am, already gotten a number and was shown to the visitor's waiting room to wait. Around 8.30am, number was called and you have to go to the counter to show all your documents one by one, then wait again for 10-15 minutes. Number called again for interview and it was a breeze. They asked how did we know each other, when did we first meet and where I'll be staying once I'm in the US. By 9.15am, I'm out of the embassy and my visa is approved. Every staff there was helpful and patient. They made me feel at ease.

Gave the wrong information that one of my Taiwan Police Certificates was in the wrong format and issued an 221g rejection.
Then I contacted the Taiwan authority and confirmed the version that I have on hand was the only certified version.
Embassy then dropped an email apologizing for the error, and requested me to drop off my passport at the nearest Aramex.

Got my passport with an approved visa on hand two days later.

Really, really efficient.
Was a small room with 2 open booths. You'd hand your papers in one booth, then wait for the consulate in another booth.
My interview took no more than 10 minutes.

Overall, extremely efficient. Just wow!

It took me one hour from appointment time to leaving the embassy.
Interview lasted for approximately 15 minutes, the rest was document submission (original copies) to embassy personnel for verification (approx. 10 mins) and waiting time.
Efficient and fast process.
