I was sort of nervous that day when I got at the consulate I waited over 4 hours there then when they called my name I swore an oath that the interviewers makes me say and then started. She asked me a lot of things about my life and how I met my wife,of course I answered very confident cause I was saying the truth the whole time. After all those questions she approved me right there. 😃😁

My fiancee had a wonderful experience at the embassy with his son. He said everyone from beginning to end was friendly. They were the only people there for the K1 Visa so they had no wait time. The first man they met with asked for some paperwork and asked about my fiancee's work. Then, he met with a woman who asked him questions about me. They checked their facts very well because they asked him about my parents, what my parents do, my job and how we met. My fiancee and I met online singing online and they had even seen our videos.

Before the interview, we had prepared so much and reviewed all the questions. They didn't ask to see all the paperwork on the required list but I'm glad we had it and were prepared. His experience was so wonderful and afterwards, he went on and on about how great they were. I hope everyone who visits the embassy in Caracas has the same experience. It was a great ending to this part of our journey.

The embassy in Caracas was amazing! From the moment you enter the embassy until the moment you leave people treat you nicely, the staff there was super helpful. Remember to follow the safety instructions: I noticed a lot of people that didn't and delayed the security checks for the rest, there are some lockers outside where you can leave small personal items like cellphones and wallets (you can pay with a debit card).

The interview process was great. First, you go to a window where they ask for some of your personal documents (birth certificates, criminal records, visa photos, medical results, etc) and take your fingerprints. The gentleman asked some personal questions (this was conducted in Spanish): a brief story on how me and my fiancé met each other, his phone number, how many times we have been together in person and when. Then he proceeded to ask me to take a seat and gave me the IMBRA pamphlet to read while I waited for the other CO to call my name.
