Review Topic: K1 Visa

My interview was on May 16th. I showed up there, got cleared by security and entered the building. Inside the Consulate, it is a bit difficult to know where to go at first. Then, after some time I figured out that I had to go to the Immigrant Visa desk to have my documents checked. When this was done, I was told to wait until they call me at another desk for my interview. I took a seat and waited for some time. When my turn came, the interview was simple with a friendly lady. Easy question and that was it. The only thing that could be somewhat unpleasant is that the whole process lasted about three hours there was a lot of people in the Consulate.

Obviously the hard part of this K1 process wasn’t the consular part. I think that the most stressing part was the gathering of all the documentation and the filling of the forms.
