I had my CR-1/IR-1 interview on December 18, at 8:30 in the morning. I had had a very hectic the day before, and especially on the night of the 17th, so I ended up arriving to my hotel in Stockholm after midnight haha! I slept for five hours or so, then got up right away and got ready to leave the hotel. I checked out and left my luggage in the luggage room around 7:20 AM. This could be an important detail for you to note, those of you that have an appointment at the embassy coming up soon. You're not allowed to bring your luggage to the embassy, so try to find a place to store it or leave it with a friend/at the hotel/centralstation, etc., before leaving to go to the embassy. And by the way, for those of you who are concerned about transportation, getting an uber to the embassy was easy, and taxi services seem to always be accessible in this area, at every hour.
When I arrived to the embassy around 7:45 AM, there was a long line outside of the building already, with ab... read complete review

Arrived 7:50am and had my appointment 8:30am. I came early to avoid a long line. The non-immigrant line was kind of long and a few people were in line when I arrived and more arrived and join the line when I was waiting to go through security. I was done right before 9am and everything went very smooth and they gave clear instructions during my interview/visit. Waiting for my medical and when the result arrives to the embassy hopefully my visa will be approved (they were happy with the docs I provided).

A quick and pleasant experience! Arrived at 7:15 am for my 8 am interview. I ended up waiting in the wrong line (K1 applicants stands in the line directly in front of the embassy, not that one inside the glass building). Security was quick and easy and I was the first one to be let in the embassy. After a few minutes of waiting I was called up to window 7 to hand over my documents. The woman asked for the tax returns receipts and I presented her with the W2’s which was wrong. She gave me a number and told me to sit down until my number was called. While waiting I read the IMBRA- document which was provided to me. After maybe ten minutes of waiting I was called up to another window for my interview. I was surprised that it wasn’t in a separate room. The man interviewing was very friendly and only asked a few questions such as “When did you last see him?†and “How did you meet?â€. After about three minutes worth of interviewing he said “Everyth... read complete review

Had my interview on May 22nd 2019 at 08:20 AM. We went there really early at around 6:45, my wife waited for me in the park that was just behind the embassy. I only brought a folder with my documents and left my phone with my wife and then walked up to the embassy and waited from 7:00, I was the first in line and I think they opened at 8:00. People started arriving a bit before that and then I was the first one who got called up to the window where they first asked me to open my folder and then turn around and show both of my soles. After that I got to go in and go through security which was just like in the airport where you put your stuff in a tray and walk through a scanner.
After I went through, one of the security officers commended me for not bringing anything (like a phone etc) so that made me feel good He also asked if I spoke swedish and I said yes, so he told me in swedish to follow the yellow line up to the door after I left the first buil... read complete review

Had a quick painless interview.
Questions asked:
When did you first meet?
How have you been communicating?
When did you last meet?
When do you plan on getting married?
