Easy. Asked for documents in the checklist, and to see a few pictures of us together. He was asked how much he loved me and if he was ready to get married and that was it. Ten minutes later the visa was approved.

Got to the Embassy rather early. My interview was at 9. They call for the 9 Appointments. I went in got scanned and went in and gave the information to a lady at the window. I then sat and she called me again. I went through all the information with her and forgot to fill out the other side of the DS 230 form but the lady was patient and helpful enough to allow me to fill it out the form....It was so nerve racking that I couldn't find my birth certificate and it was right infront of my eyes. I she then gave me a paper and told me to go and pay at the cashier window. I then paid got the receipt and went back to the lady and gave her the information. I sat again and awaited to be called. After a few mins I was called by another lady. She took my finger prints then I swore in. Asked me what did I love about my fiance asked what kind of job she does. And then said Mr. Allen looks like everything is in order, you are approved....I was so elated. She informed me that if I had my ID card on m... read complete review

Interview overall went well.

We arrived at 6:45am. We put all cellphones in a locker, they supply you the key. Security scan everything. Once you go through security they put you in a open room-it's open to outside. Then they call your appointment time group: if your appointment is for 730am, you are with that group.

We waited in the waiting room, then one by one we gave one of the immigration officers our appointment letter.

We waited.

They called my fiance's name and we went to the desk. They asked for certain documents, as well as the medical evaluation. Everything that is listed in Packet 4 is needed.
I noticed they had the original I129F petition in their possession.

TO BE CONTINUED....

The process was very simple. Both me and my fiance went to Barbados. We had to get the medical stuff done the day before so that we could receieve the results the next day and take them with us to the interview. We arrived about 30 minutes before our interview and after waiting 45 minutes we were called by a lady and she collected our documents one by one and entered the information into the computer. She was very nice and was actually giving me suggestions for my cold. After all of our documents were received which only took anout 15 minutes, we sat down and waited to be called again by another lady which swore us in and asked soe simple questions such as "how long have we been together, do we have children, have either of us ever been married and have we set a wedding date." After that she told us to come back at 3pm to receive the visa. The experience was relaxed and simple for us. We had all of our documents organized and the medical stuff was good.
