Review of doctor appointment in Oslo and interview at the Embassy in Stocholm.

I got my interview date set by the NVC, and they had sent me an email about what I needed to bring and what to do next. The NVC sent all the papers to the Embassy, and I scheduled an appointment with the Visum Legene. I went to my Fastlege to get a blood test that would be forwarded to Ullevål Sykehus in Oslo. This needed to be done a few weeks before the final doctor appointment at Ullevål Stadion. Then I went to Unilabs (any Unilab in Norway, doesn’t have to be in Oslo) to do X-ray, where I got the result on CD that same day. When I got to the Visum Legene in Oslo, I remembered to bring all the necessary documents, my passport and some passport photos. I showed up around 7.50 am (the appointment was 9 am) since I wanted to be there early. After waiting 10-15 minutes on the outside I was lead through the security and then into a "waiting room" were everything happen from giving them my passport, they going through my case (I was told they had been very busy and hadn't had the time to go through my case)and having someone asking me a few questions, say an oath on everything I submitted in the documents was true and let them scan my fingerprints.

The people was very nice and friendly, including the security guards and except from the security guards everything was in English.

I was told they had to do a background check on me, but unless they find something wrong (which they didn't expect to find)my visa was approved and I would hear back from them in a few days.

From what I can remember, the questions was:
How did you meet?
How do you communicate?
When did you start talk... read complete review

Geir said that the wait was only 30 mins, then he said that the interviewer asked him questions in Norewegian but he answered in English, and the interview was conducted like that. Some of the questions were have we met, what did I do, have I met his kids?..he said she even smiled as she read my essay on how we met...she also asked him did he know why I got divorced, he gave the best answers he could..she also asked if we were staying in philadelphia...thats about it, she gave him a hearty congrats and said he was approved!
