We arrived super early, super nervous - parked at a nearby supermarket for a few. Getting through security was quick and easy, then again in the consular section. A foreign service national asked us a few questions, took the paperwork we brought and since my wife had previously had some travel issues took her old passport with stamps. Maybe a little difficult to deal with, but definitely better than average for customer service in Latvia.
We waited about 20 minutes for her interview to begin. She was asked about 20 questions in all, with some that seemed to be trying to trip her up (kept going back to K-1 visa stuff, not sure if that's because it looked like it was all on the same form on their end or if it was trying to mess her up). The consular officer seemed friendly, approved our visa, then we were on our way. Overall the process was very short.

Very professional.
Only asked a few questions, as I accompanied by fiance to the interview. Arrived 30 min early, didn't have to wait but 5 min until being called to the window to provide all of our paperwork.
Then we were made to wait 45 min, called back up to a different window, and ilze (my fiance) was made to take an oath. Then we were both asked questions about our relationship. Where we met, why are we getting married in the USA and not here in Latvia, etc. Then he told us were are approved and she can arrive tomorrow between 3 and 4pm to receive her passport and visa!
Woohoo! over a year of work finally paid off!

Arrived 25 minutes early.
After 5 minutes, we (fiancé and I) were called to the window and asked to provide all the paperwork (application confirmation, medical, police report, birth certificate, I-134s).
We then waited 20 minutes to be called to the little side room where both of us were asked a series of simple questions (why K1 vs spousal visa, when/how did you meet, what do you do now and what do you plan to do in the US).
We were told passport with the visa will be given to the courier for delivery tomorrow.
Success.
Everyone was nice and it took less than an hour.

Arrived 30 minutes early. Had all the evidence of continued relationship etc. Interview took only about 10 minutes. Very nice and easy. I was never ask for any additional evidence. I will pick up my visa 2 days from now. Great experience.
