My hubby's interview was at 730am. We got there at 6.30am, he was not let through the security gates till about 710am. He says he went through all the steps just fine. All that was asked was :-
How many times I had visited the country since we have been married.
Whether our son had an American passport (which he does)
Where I worked
When / what date our son had undergone his surgery (he had a surgery he had to have done as a baby).
And then she asked to see pictures which the 3 of us were in.
The only mishap he underwent is that the NVC misplaced his finger prints for his police clearance / good conduct. He was issued a green printout that his visa was approved and adviced to get his finger prints re-done. They kept his passport and gave him info on how to get the finger prints sent to them, and how to register on DHL to collect his visa, once they receive his finger prints.
I was very pleased, we are glad this... read complete review

I arrived at the US embassy at 6:20am and there were around 10 people in the queue therefore its better to arrive early as they serve on a first come first served basis. To cut the long story short, at 8:40am I was on my way out and approved.
The questions asked were (not in order):
1. Who petitioned for you?
2. when was he born?
3. where was he born?
4. what is his occupation?
5. Where does he live?
6. Where did you meet?
7.Describe your first face to face meeting.
8.Where did both of you visit?
9.Which hotels did you stay in?
10.Has he been married before?
11.Did he give you anything when he visited?
12.How many days were you together?
13.What is his religion? Christian
14.Which church does he go to?
15.He then asked for the pics, chat logs, checked the call logs on the I-129F and asked whats my number....
Your visa has been approved. ... read complete review

All praise and glory is due to Allah for having made my wife's interview an easy and successful one.
We decided to spend the night in Nairobi before our interview so that we could be fresh for the interview. After reading a lot of good reviews we decided to stay at the Nomad Palace Hotel in Nairobi which is 50$ usd dollars per night. I must say the inside of the hotel and its staff is amazing but the outside of this place is definitely like a 3rd world country so you must have a lot of patience until you reach the hotel. I recommend that one hires a personal driver for the time they are there or else it is going to be pretty expensive getting around. The hotel to the US consulate is 15 minutes without traffic. We reached the consulate at 6.20 a.m. There were around 15 people already in line before us so it’s better that one comes earlier to get their ticket number quicker upon ente... read complete review
